Police have asked residents to report any suspicious activity after a spate of registration plate thefts in the Brown Edge area.

Officers say there have been a number of incidents of car registration plates being stolen in the area over the last two months.

Residents have now been asked to be vigilant and report anything suspicious to the police.

PCSO Sara Staples, of Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team, said: "It has come to our attention that there have been a number of Registration Plate thefts in the area over the last couple of months.

"These have mainly been in the Brown Edge and Endon area but could we please ask residents of the Moorlands to be vigilant and to report anything that may be suspicious."
