Three Biddulph residents fined for breaching coronavirus restrictions

Three people in Biddulph have received £200 fines for breaching coronavirus restrictions.

Two males, an 18-year-old and 20-year-old were both fined for breaching the rules and issued with Community Protection Notice Warnings regarding their anti-social behaviour in the town.

The parents of a 14-year-old were also fined £200 following repeated anti-social behaviour and breaches of coronavirus restrictions.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "Two males from Biddulph, aged 18 and 20-years-old, have been issued with Covid-19 breach fines of £200 each and Community Protection Notice Warnings regarding their anti-social behaviour in the town.

"Following continued anti-social behaviour and Covid-19 breaches, the parent of a 14-year-old Biddulph juvenile has today [Saturday] been issued with a £200 Covid fine.

"Please ensure that your children are aware and abide by the current legislation, especially around essential journeys."
