Have you ever wondered where your waste goes in Staffordshire?

How is it processed? What can you do with tricky materials? How can you reduce, reuse, repair, compost and recycle more?

Biddulph residents have been invited to get the answers to all of these questions and more in a Zoom call next week.

The call will be hosted by Rob Whitehouse, co-coordinator of Waste Savvy Staffs, on Tuesday, 1st September from 7pm.

Waste Savvy Staffs is a volunteer-led waste reduction project, funded by Staffordshire County Council's sustainability department.

Rob said: "Waste is an issue that involves us all and it will take all of us working together to create a Waste Savvy Staffordshire.

"Don't worry, there's no pressure to turn your video on and you won't be forced to join in - it's absolutely fine to just sit back and listen, or to ask as many questions as you like.

"This will be practical advice that is correct for the area you live (unlike many Facebook posts, packaging labels, TV programmes and newspaper articles!) and everyone will leave the video session with some simple solutions and actions to put in place depending on how much you want to do."

Click here to get your free ticket and you will then be sent the Zoom login details.
