Which Biddulph pubs are reopening and what social distancing measures will they have?
With lockdown beginning to ease and pubs finally being able to reopen for the first time in months on Saturday, which pubs in Biddulph will customers be able to return to?
It seems that any Biddulph residents looking to enjoy a drink on Saturday night will have a good selection of venues to choose from, with at least six pubs opening in the town on July 4th, and even more in the surrounding area.
However, those returning to one of these pubs on Saturday will encounter a different drinking experience than they may be used to, with a range of social distancing measures in place to ensure the safety of customers.
Patrons may be encouraged to order via smartphone apps rather than at the bar, sanitation measures and one way systems will be in place, and pubs' usual ranges of games and activities will not be available.
For the full list of social distancing measures advised for pubs by the Government last week, see Nub's report here.
Meanwhile, Nub also reported on Tuesday how police have urged customers to "be patient with staff and drink sensibly" as pubs reopen.
