The grand opening of a new arts and crafts workshop in Biddulph that was meant to take place this week has been delayed.
Nub News reported recently how the workshop was due to open at the visitor centre at Biddulph Grange Country Park on Friday, 25th February, but unfortunately this has now been pushed back.
Residents have now been asked not to attend on the 25th as the workshop will not yet be open.
A new opening date has not yet been confirmed, but we will be sure to keep you updated once we receive this information.
Marianne Hodgkinson, who is running the workshop, told Nub News: "Unfortunately I have been informed of a problem and we have to delay our opening on Friday the 25th.
"We will have to postpone our opening event - but we don't want people turning up unnecessarily."
She added that she would confirm a new opening date in the future.
The workshop is being introduced to the visitor centre following communication with Biddulph Town Council, who were looking for a new tenant to occupy the building at Biddulph Grange Country Park.
Marianne told Nub News previously that the workshop "will be providing a variety of arts and crafts workshops for everyone."
She added: "Different artists specialising in all areas will deliver sessions ranging from taster workshops to challenging opportunities for those seeking to push their creative boundaries.
"We will also be offering therapy based well-being group workshops and fun sessions for birthday, hen/stag dos, and baby shower parties."
