New vicar announced at Biddulph church

Many thanks to Andrew Shufflebotham for submitting this post! Andrew has revealed that a new vicar has been announced for a local church in Biddulph. Read the details below:

On Sunday morning, the congregation of St. Lawrence's Church, Biddulph, learned the exciting news that their new Vicar will be Revd Will Drain.

Revd Drain is currently curate of St Chad's Church Romiley in the Diocese of Chester.

He will be licensed to St. Lawrence's in September by the Bishop of Lichfield.

Revd Drain, with his wife Rachel and children Beth and Dan are expected to move to Biddulph in the summer.
