An energy saving day will be held in Biddulph this weekend to offer residents support when it comes to the cost of living and rising energy prices.

The Energy Saving Day event is being put on on Saturday (8th October) from 10am - 1pm at Biddulph Town Hall.

The day will include ideas on how to cope with the rising cost of living, financial advice, a range of organisations offering support, and free refreshments.

A spokesperson for Biddulph Town Council said: "Please join us at Biddulph Town Hall on Saturday 8 October, 10-1pm for our Energy Saving Day.

"Increases in the cost of fuel and food are likely to affect all households over the coming months and we're keen to help, if we can.

"Come along to speak to different organisations that can offer advice and support; pick up freebies and join us for free refreshments."
