Detectives searching for a missing man who residents say can often be seen in Biddulph have released a CCTV clip as part of their search.

Gary Dutton, aged 53, was last seen on Old Court Street in Tunstall at around 10am on Tuesday 17 May.

He was reported missing later the same day.

Gary is described as white, approximately 6ft tall, of a slim build, with dark grey hair, a moustache, thick eyebrows and stubble.

He was last seen wearing a beige jacket, a light blue t-shirt and grey corduroy jeans.

Since Gary has gone missing local residents have said he is a familiar face in the Biddulph area.

One resident commented: "Gary is a familiar face [in Biddulph]. Not sure if he lives here, but I always see him in town and Brown Lees."

Detective Inspector Pete Cooke, said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Gary and his welfare. He has mobility issues and as you can see from this CCTV footage, he has quite a distinctive walk.

"We are appealing to anyone who has seen Gary in the last few days, or has any relevant CCTV or dash-cam footage from Old Court Street or the surrounding areas to get in touch."

Anyone who has seen Gary or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on social media, or call 101, quoting incident 382 of 17 May.
