Police appeal after brick thrown through window on Biddulph street

Police have appealed for information after windows were smashed with bricks on a Biddulph street.

Officers say unknown offenders threw a brick at kitchen windows on Mayfield Road, causing it to smash.

The incident occurred at some point on Tuesday evening (3rd November).

Police are now asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious on Mayfield Road at this time to contact them.

PCSO Stephen Sherratt, of Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team, said: "We have had reports of windows have been smashed at a property in Mayfield Road Biddulph.

"Unknown offenders have approached the rear of the property and then threw a house brick at the kitchen windows causing it to smash.

"This has happened sometime over the evening of 03/11/2020.

"If you saw anyone suspicious in the area please call Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident 578 04/11/2020."
