Police investigating report of fly tipping on Biddulph road

Police are investigating after cuts of carpet were reportedly dumped from a vehicle driving down a Biddulph road.
Officers say they have received a report of a white car dumping the carpets on Mill Hayes Road yesterday afternoon (Monday 9th May).
Police now say that enquiries related to the incident are ongoing and that they are working with Staffordshire Moorlands District Council.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "Police were called to an address on Mill Hayes Road, Knypersley, yesterday (Monday 9 May) following reports of fly-tipping.
"It is reported that around 1.30pm on Monday (9 May), the occupants of a white car emerged from the vehicle and left cuts of carpet on the road before driving off.
"The occupants of the vehicle were described as a woman with blonde hair and a man with brown hair.
"Inquiries are ongoing and police are working with the local authority to resolve the matter."
