"The beers have arrived in the cellar" ahead of The Royal Oak's reopening, and a date has now been provided after the Biddulph pub underwent a complete revamp.
Biddulph Nub News reported previously how the building is set to reopen as a pub, as well as having bed and breakfast accommodation, with builders brought in to work on the inside of the pub, as well as give it a new paint job on the outside.
The team behind the project explained that they wanted the space to be "a community pub that brings people together" and added that they were "so excited to come to Biddulph".
Now the pub's new landlords, Simon and Marianne, have confirmed that the pub is finally reopening in only one week - on 22nd November.
They said: "Drumroll please - we're excited to officially announce that we have a launch date! Monday 22nd November!
"More details to follow, for now we're working through the night on the finishing touches. So get it in your diary people! The beers have arrived in the cellar and it's finally happening!"
