Our client is a long-established global company supplying specialist security products for various organisations worldwide.

They are currently seeking a number of Electrical fitters to join their busy team at their modern assembly site near Biddulph. These positions are to work on a major project lasting at least 12 months with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidates

These roles will contribute to the production of all Cargo security systems, routing, wiring, assembling and installing electrical and electronic components to a very high standard.

• Routes, wires, assembles and installs electrical and electronic components in a mobile truck system and fixed or gantry rail systems, such as main junction and terminal boxes, main control switch panels and CCTV cameras, according to specifications
• Using jig boards, hand tools/power tools, (drills, etc.) and other equipment
• Read drawings and on occasions, schematics to specifications, to determine established assembly methods.

• Qualifications are not essential to this role but relevant hands on experience in wiring or electrical fitting is required
• Ability to read drawings.
• Attention to detail and production of a quality item are vital skills.

Hours of work:

• 8am 4.30pm Monday to Thursday

• 8am 4pm Friday

Pay rate:

• £14.00-£16.50 per hour

• Overtime available paid at time plus a half
